Meet the Founder
Lingo (LCSW, Founder & Innovation Strategist)
Therapist. Advocate. Bridge-Builder
“Therapists are asked to do impossible work in broken systems—and I believe we deserve better. That belief isn’t radical. It’s reasonable.”
I started Lingo Network after years of listening to stories like my own—therapists with deep integrity burning out, getting stuck, or leaving the field entirely. Not because they lacked skill or passion—but because the systems around them weren’t built for sustainability, honesty, or growth.
As a licensed clinical social worker and business owner, I’ve worked across many levels of care—direct practice, clinical supervision, leadership, and advocacy. In every space, I saw the same gap: therapists were being left out of conversations and decisions that shaped their careers, their well-being, and the care they provided.
What I didn’t want was another top-down solution. What I envisioned instead was something more collaborative:
– A bridge between therapists and employers.
– A way to elevate voices often left unheard.
– A system that evolves with us—not around us.
My Path So Far
My professional journey has included:
- Clinical work with diverse populations across settings and lifespans
- Supervision and mentorship for early-career clinicians
- Innovation and leadership in community-based care
- Policy-level advocacy centered on transparency and shared accountability
One thing has always been clear:
– When we take care of the people who provide care, everyone benefits.
Why I Built Lingo Network
I created Lingo Network to respond to three challenges I kept seeing:
- Misalignment – between therapist values and workplace expectations
- Opacity – in hiring, development, and leadership culture
- Disconnection – between different players in the mental health field
Lingo is a platform and a community. It’s a place for honest dialogue, practical tools, and bold collaboration across sectors. Not to tear systems down—but to help reshape them in ways that work better for everyone.
Let’s Reimagine the Field Together
Whether you’re a therapist, an employer, a policymaker, or somewhere in between—I’m glad you’re here.
You deserve a system that respects your voice.
You deserve a profession that reflects your values.
You deserve partners who are committed to meaningful, sustainable change.
Let’s build that—together.
— Lingo,
